Created in the early 1970’s, the Al Wazzan family started Sulaibiya and Abdali farms (with over 1 million sq meter of land) to farm alfalfa for cattle feed and constructed modern greenhouses producing various vegetables that included tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, potatoes, mushrooms and many more to support the group’s own demand for fresh production in order to directly sell to the market.
